Montgomery County Teachers Federal Credit Union, since 2006 has been sponsoring monthly financial aid workshops conducted by Dr. Davis and Mr. Matt Beyer, Student Loan Officer. At these open-to-the-public -meetings there are discussions regarding the many options for funding a college education. (Please see the "Events Calendar" for the upcoming workshop schedule.) Montgomery County Public Schools [MD] - Financial Aid Advisory Service for Students in the English as a Second Language (ESOL): Dr. Davis volunteers his time and expertise in assisting these students in applying for financial aid. Since the inception of the program in 1989, Dr. Davis has been instrumental with these students in receiving over three million dollars in college aid. Hispanic Alliance of Montgomery County - Financial aid workshops are provided for the Spanish families of Montgomery county and are co-sponsored by the Montgomery County Public Schools, and the Spanish Alliance as a community service with Dr. Davis as the seminar presenter. Dr. Davis contributes his time and knowledge on a voluntary basis and has participated in this program for over seven years. College Financial Aid Workshops - Public and private high schools in metropolitan Washington, DC invite Dr. Davis to conduct these seminars at over 40 locations for high school junior and senior families as a community service.
